Mass Arrests of Activists in Manchester – Cameras Confiscated
Free Keene ^ | June 4th | Ian Freeman

Posted on 06/04/2011 5:40:40 PM PDT by Halfmanhalfamazing

At least seven liberty activists (including the entire Liberty on Tour crew) were arrested today in Manchester during a protest at Manchester PD. Police confiscated video cameras in an attempt to shut down coverage of their thuggery, but at least one video slipped out. More as we find it out:

As I’m doing more search on the details here, this seems to be some anti-police group.

*facepalm*

Oh well. Can’t get them all..................

So, just what is a “liberty activist”?

Please, don’t post anymore from the Free Keene site.

If these Free State idiots want to show how brave they are, let ‘em try provoking cops in NYC and see what happens.

I didn’t catch that at first.

It’s the weekend, so I’ve gone looking around for different talk shows around the web on various AM stations across the country, and this is what they were talking about.

As someone who’s been to a tea party, I’ve learned to distrust media. I didn’t see anything about this on google news so I figured it was a local tea party event up in NH.

The term ‘liberty activist’ clearly has some double meaning, I can’t tell you with 100% what that means though.

We’ve got enough real problems with police, we don’t need agitators creating more.

In this case, it looks like about a half dozen young white guys with no jobs, who took it upon themselves to block the ingress and egress to a police station. One of them is wearing a shirt with the web address copblocker.com, or some such, on his tee shirt. He was arrested. I think these are “liberty activists” like Westboro Baptist Church is a loving Christian community.

I did not watch the whole clip, as it was making me very drowsy.

copblocker.com domain name expired.

If these are the libertarian free-staters, I will say that they at one time put pirate radio stations on in Keene and
Manchester. Once I was driving through downtown Manch. and put it on for a minute or two. EXTREMELY boring.

From what I've seen of their website, someone who was paid to see 'V for Vendetta' more than once
I think they are trying to cause confusion between themselves and the Tea Party

Someone said that sunlight was the best disinfectant. I'm sympathetic towards this "Freestate" crowd for the most part up until the point where they insist on fouling their own nest or doing something equally as counterproductive.

Then I figure I'm just an old fart watching a younger generation act out in a dumb-ass manner.

It's too bad. There aren't many grownups that appear prominently in the Freestate movement, not here in NH that I can see.

Not a very good analogy at the national level, but Ron Paul, sympathetic to the Freestaters I would imagine, at least isn't out of the world provocative, nutty or reeking of Mister Giggle. Here in NH some Freestaters seem to believe that sticking a thumb in people's eye is a sufficient end unto itself.

I’m just a big believer in catching more flies with honey than vinegar.

I’ve been to a few tea party events and the cops at those seemed pretty relaxed with the crowd because tea partiers aren’t hostile. They didn’t mind being photographed or surrounded by the crowd.

When we were protesting the health care debate outside my congressman’s office, the SEIUnACORNs bussed in protesters from around the state. Police at that event stood facing the marxists or wandered around the conservative crowd chatting and being all around friendly.

The only time I’ve seen any menacing action from police at a tea party rally was when Obama was speaking inside the building. I’m guessing the call for riot gear came from above or somebody wanted to impress the secret service.

If I were a cop or even a liberal cop, I think I would choose conservative neighbors.

This must be where the phrase, “What is your Free Keene problem?” came from.

The earliest I know of is the justice Louis Brandeis. But Beck has been saying it a lot over the past few years.

I suppose it’s not so bad that I posted this, we do need to keep aware of what others around us are up to. Though, that’s not the original reason I posted.
