I would think that would be a badge of honor to be eliminated from the “journalistic gene pool.” You and I have watched the daily “Carney-val” watching an unqualified man basically dodge questions. We’ve watched the news conferences with the teleprompters. The “news” is generated. There is no need to go to the “news conference” ... simply read the handout. The only REAL NEWS to “report” would be on a lady reporter’s new hairdo or a man reporter’s new shoes. There’s not any “news” that takes a reporter to report. I’m surprised any of them even show up ... they’d have a lot more time for investigative reporting if they’d just stay in their office and wait for the email from Obama.gov. (Or maybe just read FR?!)

Meaning, the successful candidate him/herself will have to be a scrappy fighter. This was the instant appeal of Trump, despite his questionable principles and record.
0bama has NO defense either factually, telepromterly, or emotionally against direct accusations that his policies are completely destructive to business confidence. Such confidence is the single foundational element preventing business hiring. You go ask 100 small to medium businesses where they are at and what their plans are, and I will guarantee you that the vast majority they are laying low, shepherding their resources. Everyone will know this because everyone is doing exactly that themselves. They (businesses) have no confidence that some new anti-profits mandate will be coming down the road, that taxes and fees and diktats will increase their costs as soon as this regime can think them up. They have EVERY confidence that the same monetary activity designed to recapitalize the major banks will raise their input and energy and compliance costs of every type. And everyone sees this in their gas prices, it is inescapable. They have every confidence that 0bamacare will increase their costs. They have every confidence that their earnings power is under attack as a matter of “corporate greed” or “windfall profits”. This is something that can be widely understood by the increasing army of unemployed, and fundamentally, these folks realize that highfallutin’ rhetoric and endless vague references to lofty idealism isn’t going to put food on their table or rescue their home prices.
