Gad I hate that term “love child”. I guess somebody thought it sounded better than “bastard child” or “illegitimate child”. Frankly I hate all those terms and just find “child” to be appropriate.

I’m with you. Remove all the stigma AWAY from the child and place in on the parents IMHO. The child is innocent.

Reminds me of an acquaintance that used to say, “I'm in lust!” when he saw an attractive woman. Perhaps lust child would be more appropriate.

You make a good point.
I keep thinking in all these recent “love child” stories how grateful I am that the children weren’t aborted. These are beautiful children and DO deserve to live, despite the scandal their parents created by bringing them forth. That is the one area of credit and praise that I do give the parents: they didnt kill their children in their efforts to cover up their scandals.
