The natural gas price has been low and stable for the last 2 years, while oil and related gasoline price spiked. This world simply cannot afford $100/bbl oil and $4 gasoline - its what pushed us into recession in the first place.
Hell for years the IMF wanted taxes to level prices with europe....................get that man out of the White House Now!

Barbour is stretching the truth somewhat but he’s correct that Obama *intended* to raise energy prices to force us all into mass transit and “green” energy alternatives. Look at all the people he puts on the EPA, interior and other positions that affect policy. They’re all zealots.

The ONLY reason the left, and this includes republicans want oil prices to go up is the FACT this is a MAJOR avenue of redistribution of America’s wealth to other countries.
Soon the 3 billion in loans to Brazil will result in billions of American dollars being spent there to buy their oil....

It's as if Republicans believe that once you make a point, everyone's got it. But everyone hasn't got it. You have to repeat yourself over and over again, almost ad nauseam, before they all do get it.
For instance, if I were running a Republican presidential campaign, I'd make a commercial that showed the candidate going over a typical voter's check stub with the voter, explaining to him that it's "your money." It could be, and WOULD be, in your pocket if the Bumocrats were out of office. Three, four, five hundred dollars a week? Could you use that money, Mr. and Mrs. Taxpayer? You don't have to give away your money to a mooch. Ever. A Bumocrat is a mooch. It is flat out wrong to give your money to a mooch instead of using it to provide for your children's future.
That commercial should be run hundreds of times in every city of the country, before every election. Anyway... just on my soapbox here a little.
