I was surprised to see the race of the perps mentioned.
An Arizona Department of Safety Officer pulled over a pick-up truck owner for a faulty taillight. When the officer approached the driver, the man behind the wheel handed the officer his driver’s license, insurance card and a concealed weapon carry permit.The officer took all the documents, looked them over and said. "Mr.. Smith, I see you have a CCP. Do you have any weapons with you?"
The driver replied, " Yes sir, I have a 357 handgun in a hip holster, a .45 in the glove box and a .22 derringer in my boot."
The officer looked at the driver and asked, "Anything else?"
"Yes sir, I have a Mossberg 500 12 gauge and an AR-15 behind the seat."
The officer asked if the man was driving to or from a shooting range and the man said he wasn't, so the officer bent over and looked into the driver's face and said "Mr. Smith, you're carrying quite a few guns.
May I ask what you are afraid of?Mr. Smith locked eyes with the officer and calmly answered,
"Not a darn thing!"
Sounds like the societal situation in a book I read a few years ago.

A few years ago, I was discussing the "gun issue" with a lib brother in law. He asked why would anyone need a "semi-auto".
I smiled and asked, "and just what do you think a 'semi-auto' is?"
To his credit, here was his reply:
[slight pause] Well, I guess I don't know that.
I then explained what that meant, what he probably thought it meant (select fire full auto), and that nearly every hunting rifle available was a "semi-auto". I also asked him to consider both the accuracy and the veracity of his information source, and whether they might be INTENTIONALLY deceiving people to further an agenda.

Yep the comments at the original source are more heated than here at FR. CBS at least mentioned the race of the Obama voter lynch mob. People can fill in the blanks, that men attacked were white. More black racism in action

Good comment, yes, jobs could help. So could ending social services, which is where the culture of violence is bred - in welfare-foodstamp-Section 8 "communities"
Still it may be too late for that to really help.
I think one reasonable solution is for some states to start ending all these programs. This would result in an exodus of the welfare-seekers from those states and into welfare friendly states like New York and California.
At some point it is unfair to the rest of society to expect us to carry the 15% burden of a violent, hostile, non-productive minority that isn't doing anything for themselves. At that point de-facto separation is really the next step.

Actually, he had in the back of his mind pulling together about a million ex-slaves and sending them down to build the Panama Canal. He had Gen. Dan Sickles down there talking to the government in Bogota and leading men in the country as well.
Mind you, this was before Walter Reed and his conquest of yellowjack.
Sickles' files of correspondence and reports back to Washington existed, but it's been gone through and cleaned out.
