FWIW, I think the author states the problem clearly and powerfully, and if anything he errs on the side of too little alarm.
But I’ve seen these people up close, radical muslims in my neighborhood running a mosque, madrassa, islamic center and pedophile operation. I’ve heard their intense hatred of America.
We won’t have to go after them, they will come after us.
There will come a point where they think they are strong enough that they’ll do like they do in other countries - grab their AK’s and start trying to enforce Sharia. They’ll try this when they start getting close to 10% of the population. That’s when it will hit the fan.
Local and state govts will put those actions down hard. It’s the same response as would be if the Marxists tried a revolution. The Feds, what are they gonna do about it? Tell the country Sharia is law of the land and for everyone to stand down? The governors will flip them the bird and send out the national guard.
The Marxists may be tolerated now, but that’s because they work thru the system and disguise themselves. The Muslims won’t do that. Start going door-to-door in the local community with guns to implement their order, start trying to take territory and set up their own govts, and things will become a whole different matter.
One of the unintended consequences of liberalism is that nobody is going to tolerate submission to a religious state and have their morality dictated to them. Add to that nearly 250 years of religious freedom and the country, particularly the Bible Belt, won’t lay down to some type of forced Sharia.
My attitude is like alot of people. You screw with my family and you don’t have at least the pretense of an official govt body and you’re dead. All of you. And I’ll sleep just fine at night thank you. Living in the Midwest with roots in the South, I can tell you that most perfectly good Christian people have no issue of killing thugs like that dead in a very Old Testament type of way and have no remorse about it. Despite the Marxist infiltration, your average guy in the street still understands judeo-christian Justice.
Once it hits the fan, Muslims will bring down hellfire on themselves and the government will get in on it. Whether by attrition, incarceration, or depoortation, they’re numbers will shrink drastically, quickly.

So let's not wait for it. We have a remedy at hand; we'll just have to legalize it by common consensus, and then do what Franklin Roosevelt did. Round them all up, sort out the friendlies from the unfriendlies, and then forcibly exile, expatriate, repatriate, or otherwise positively remove the Salafists from our midst before they do what they so obviously and reliably have in mind.
To do anything less would be criminally negligent, improvident, and quite possibly liable to people whom these Moslems will hurt and kill if we do not.

sorry to sound a pessimist, but from a secular point of view, i think it is hopeless. i see no scenario, where we can reverse world trends fast enough. demographics is destiny. ...i would be HAPPY to be proved wrong !!!
(the only scenario i see with a chance, is if Israel gets invaded, and loses, and takes most of them out with them. Especially if they take out the Kaaba, maybe there is hope there. but already in Islam, is a way around even losing that.)

While it’s true that the political right has been successful in Turkey over the last decade, it’s really only been that way because the left as well as the secular sector (includes the military) has become at odds with the US which in its search for a new model in the middle east tried to paint Turkey in the colors of moderate islam rather than accept it as the secular republic that it is. Having burned her bridges with the Turkish left and the secular population She, the US, found new play partners: the religious fundementalists in Turkey. The US (aka Bush II) made their Jimmy Jones (Fethullah Gulen) enormously rich while aiding and abetting this wanted criminal on her soil.
This of course plays out well for those who would like to play you Americans like sock puppets to finally get at those coveted lands of greek, armenian, kurdish and cypriot dreams. Sucker beware!

A couple of talk-radio guys were discussing the fact yesterday that Huma has disappeared since Weiner was accused, and didn't do the traditional "stand by your man" gig at the press conference. In fact, they said they'd heard she'd cut off all contact with him. She has her own resources, too, they said. (Yeah -- Hillary.)

I was talking to the Dad the other day and he kept hearing this BANG... BANG....BANG...Sounded and felt like someone was taking a pot shots at his house up there...I did hear the shots till he went outside (like a dummy) and started yelling...Even more dumb...
Anyway, it wasn’t anyone flipping out and taking shots at him, it was a barn/workshed about 50 yards from his house that was on fire...
It was my uncles workshed basically, and he haas a hard time taking care of mechanical things and small motors...
Well his main fix is to buy cans and cans of starting ether...Well those things run out, but not completely...The partially empty cans of that stuff are more dangerous than the full cans, to a point...
Well the barn is on fire...Thats all I got from Dad, and I panicked because I have a stash of “stuff” distributed out and around the compound up there, and I thought, well crap...There goes some of our “stuff”...
Good thing it wasn’t our barn, but my uncles nearby...
The local VFD did a great job in responding, and no one was hurt,nor did the fire spread to other structures or land up there...It is dryer than hades up there, and we cannot afford a mess like that at this particular juncture...
I told Dad next time to fire up the big tractor and use the front end loader to dump sand and dirt on the next one, maybe even bulldoze the structure as best you can as well...Thats almost our first line of defense for fires up there in the piney woods...
Just thought you would enjoy the latest exciting thing going on up there...
