Here's the naked truth about Rep. Anthony Weiner -- he's an Internet perv.
A "deeply ashamed" Weiner openly wept during a news conference this afternoon in Manhattan -- admitting that he made "terrible mistakes" in sending lewd pictures of himself to women he met on Facebook and Twitter over the past few years.
A contrite Weiner vowed not to resign in the wake of the scandal and said he had told his wife only today about his ongoing online sexual trysts. "I don't know what I was thinking," an apologetic Weiner told reporters at the Sheraton Hotel in Midtown. He said 21 times that he accepted responsibility for his actions. Weiner also said he was "not resigning" -- but took "full responsibility for my actions" over the last few years.
Until today, Weiner (D-Brooklyn/Queens) had adamantly denied sending a crotch pic tweet last month. When asked last week whether the crotch seen 'round the world was his, Weiner responded that he could not say with "certitude" it was not. Weiner called the initial that photo a joke and a “hugely regrettable mistake.” Last week's underwear imbroglio erupted after a picture of bulging briefs popped up on the Twitter feed of Seattle college student Gennette Cordova, a follower of the congressman and an admitted fan.
After initially insisting that a hacker broke into his account and sent the photo, Weiner spent most of last week desperately trying to deflate the issue. "I lied because I was ashamed about what I had done," said Weiner....

How can you tell that it’s a Democrat who’s accepted full responsiblity for some transgression?
Answer: when accepting “full responsiblity” carries with it no tangible consequences (like loss of office).

Did he submit a complaint? Did he involve the police or the FBI? If so, he’s committed another crime.
Democrats rarely resign their office over sex scandals. Bill Clinton set the bar for that. Anthony Weiner is a nasty little perv but he’ll likely be re-elected with votes to spare. He’s in New York and he’s a Democrat. End of story.
I don’t think he did. He is not that dumb.
If this post can’t be the one that stays photographic evidence free (the description is already more than I want to hear), can people at least post warnings far in advance of this junk? I wouldn’t surprise you with photos of 90-year old former White House pool reporters, middle-aged lesbian alleged comediennes, nor middle-aged alleged lesbian comediennes.

The Democrats have not figured out, these people are albatrosses around their necks. Like Cold Cash Jefferson and Tax Evasion Charlie Rangel, these come back to haunt parties in elections.
Weiner is now the butt of jokes and unless they deal with him, any spillover may not be good.
