Last Tuesday, Sipsey Street Irregular Mike Vanderboegh (and also Seattle Gun Rights Examiner Dave Workman) speculated on rumors that a drug trafficking syndicate's .50 caliber rifle that forced a Mexican military helicopter into an emergency landing was a "Project Gunwalker" gun. Mr. Vanderboegh was quoting CleanUpATF.org forum member who posts under the name "Epic Failure" (emphasis added):
Wanna lay money on where the rifles came from? Word is that full blown panic is taking place in the hallways at 99 New York Avenue [BATFE headquarters in Washington D.C.]. Rumor is that a 50 was also seized. The recoveries of violence guns is coming at a Fast and Furious rate!
Now, CBS News investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson seems to have confirmed it:
CBS News has learned that the recent case of a Mexican military helicopter forced to land after it was fired upon is linked to the ATF Fast and Furious "gunwalker" operation.
Drug cartel suspects on the ground shot at Mexican government helicopters two weeks ago in western Mexico, forcing one chopper to land. . . .
Among the seized weapons are guns sold to suspects as part of the ATF sting operation, sources say. That information came from traces of serial numbers.
The CBS article goes on to say that some of the firearms recovered at the scene were trafficked by suspects who had already been arrested and indicted for their gun trafficking activities. As CBS points out, this revelation is likely to strain the already tense relationship between Mexico and the U.S.

We will never know, but I would not be surprised if the Mexican gov't was involved in this scheme as it would bolster their claim that firearms from the US are a problem.

If it were truly serious, There would be Dozens of Federal Agents and Federal Employees ROTTING IN FEDERAL PRISON as we speak. And since not one single person has been Arrested, let alone be fired, this is just a Show.

One more thing for anyone who has any doubts, there is more than enough EVIDENCE and Direct Testimony already made public to justify Reasonable Suspicion that Many Crimes were committed by the BATF. There is no Reason whatsoever that can justify the refusal to ARREST AND JAIL every last person involved, they already admitted it. Just following orders, is not and never has been a Legal Defense, see Nuremberg.

To prove that Mexicans get weapons from the US, thus in the interests of international comity American civilian-owned weapons must be restricted.
I hear what you are saying and wondering the same thing. AG Holder who was Janet Reno’s #2 man at the Waco, TX/David Koresh mess has been covering up for a lot of things and according to what I have been reading is about to get thrown out of office. I can only hope he is charged with all the crimes that he is guilty of. Seems our GOP leaders are more happy to play golf with our Commie-in-Chief than to do their jobs. Americans are suffering the worst we have had it in many years and all our elected officials can do is to make a date to go Golfing.
They never planned on that senior agent in Phoenix coming out and telling the world what was going on. I also called my state senator(Rockefeller)and no one had heard about this even after the reports came out on CBS Evening News. Of course, I will call again tomorrow and see if they are aware of the latest development. I will make a gentleman’s bet with you that they havent. Betch’a I will win this bet.
They might also be making a case to ban all .50 cal rifles because they can now say that these rifles in the hands of trained shooter can bring down a jet airliner too. I sure hope “Big Sis” at Homeland Security hasnt heard about this or we have a ban on these weapons for sure.
Just to make everyone aware if you buy too many semi-automatic weapons with large magazines in a month your name is being reported to Dept. of Homeland Security. The same thing is true for all veterans using VA healthcare services when they asked you the questions about if you are stressed or having problems with anyone. Veterans have already lost CCW licenses because of this and other illegal government activities. They are trying to demonize us veterans so they can take our weapons away and using National Security as the reason to do this.
If you see this happening in your neck of the woods get on your computer and start telling everyone that you can as to what is going on. This is the only way we can fight this and get it stopped. Call your state senators everyday if you have to and make sure that they are fully aware of what is going on and you are watching what they do or dont do.
Again, based on what I am reading in other places the fraud and Holder covering this up is going to break soon resulting in many people being told to resign. Rep. Issa still hasnt recieved the documents that he has requested. While they can nickel and dime us to death on a FOIA request, it is an entirely different story to do this congressman in charge of the investigation into Operation Gunrunner.
Look at all the people that are bailing out of serving under our Commie-in-Chief. He just lost another one this week. No one wants to be on this ship when it capsizes taking them down too. Which each passing day the stench from this band of goons is getting stronger and stronger. Now it is going to blown up in their face and there isnt a dang thing they can do about it. The same goes for the Birth Certificate too, but I wont go into that here.

The name of the article is “HOLDER IS GONNA TO FALL PART 1 AND 2.” The reporter is talking to someone high up in the White House and it explains a lot of what is happening right now in a way that I am sure you have NOT heard before. It does make a lot of sense to me as to what is really going on and how our laws are not being followed.
Keep your powder dry and wait for more developments to come out. I am hoping that all of us will soon be able to have a “Gun Day” where all of us will be able to legally shoot our weapons off in celebration to this clown being sent down the road to a Federal Pen. I can only hope that he takes a bunch of the others that have been making our lives a living hell on a “perp walk” with him. For that to happen our other senators have to grow a pair bewteen their legs and stand up to the Communists we have in our government. That song by “Toby Keith/We’ll put a boot in your ass” comes to mind and will played over and over at our Gun Day when all this starts to unravel on them.
We only have to hide in the tall grass a little longer to see all this coming about.
