Evergreen State hunting activists are sounding the alarm in the wake of Saturdays Fish & Wildlife Commission discussion in Olympia on the revised wolf management plan.
There are now at least five active discussions on wolves in Washington, and their potential impact on hunting, on three different local internet hunting forums. With but one exception, sentiments are all negative. One forum has a whole sub-topic on wolves.
Wolf advocates are determined to bring up the population of predatory canines in this state, regardless of the impact on big game herds. Hunters see them as something close to snake oil peddlers, offering predictions of possible economic benefits from potential tourist treks here to see the wolves.
"They can't be that stupid, can they?"'DoubleJ' on the Hunting-Washington forum
Evidently, these wolf advocates believe the same kind of tourist traffic that apparently comes from whale watching tours can eventually be generated by wolf watchers. And here's the rub, according to hunters: No matter how many wolves eventually come to Washington (15 breeding pairs, and their extended families, appears to be where the Department of Fish and Wildlife has set the goal), wolf advocates will never be satisfied that there are enough.

Decisions on wolf populations and impact being made by arrogant federal bureaucrats whose contact with wild America is mostly watching the illegals mow the neighbors lawns.
It doesn’t have anything to do with watching wolves. It’s all about taking away weapons. Have the wolves eat up all the deer and elk and moose and then you don’t need hunters anymore. And then, what do you need those rifles for? There aren’t anymore deer or elk to hunt. I become more convinced every day that the Democrats/liberals would force their ideas on the rest of the country if they weren’t afraid of those weapons in the homes.
Montana has lost 3/4th of their elk herds due to these predators. 20 some years ago a friend of mine went to jail for shooting a wolf while it preyed on his sheep. They’re predators, plain and simple, and if you want sustainable game herds, you must decimate them!
Its about getting rid of people, not guns.
The globalists plan on turning North Anerica back to the idylic wilderness it was before Europeons invaded.
I stopped hunting in WA state 2 years ago. WA Fish and Game and the liberals that run WA state have destroyed the herds in WA state.
I live in Alaska now.
