"It's unclear if Weiner's PR team is from his Congressional staff.  If so, Weiner could run afoul of House Ethics Rules as well as the law."

This will be the next thing he lies about...

Which Dem will be the first to call on his resignation ? He’s already too much of a distraction to them.

A slow exit by him is good for Republicans.

Insert some “y’alls” in there? Really?? Does he think sounding like Paula Deen will endear a porn star to middle America, busy clinging to its guns and religion?

I’m still thinking he is not going to resign.

The Ethics committee will probably make him reimburse the cost of the telephone calls he made from his office on the taxpayers dime, and then slap him on the wrist.

You just know this d-bag thought he would waltz right through the knee pad media and get a pass...and I'm sure they would have let him get away with it, but Breitbart wasn't going to let it go.

Finally, there was just too much blood in the ater water, and the journo-lists couldn't ignore it anymore without looking like they were not just complicit, but also incompetent.

“...and even offered PR help from his team.”

####

What “team”?

Legislators at ALL levels should be able to function perfectly well with one or two secretaries or personal assistants.

That a no-talent, perverted earwig like Weiner has a “team” at his disposal is a taxpayer abomination.

What’s the difference between him and the Swimmer? The Rats knew all about Ted’s indiscretions, and they still worshipped him.

This should nail it for him.

This situation is outrageous- that he did this in the first place shows he’s got serious personal demons he needs to come to terms with- but more disturbing to me is the way he was able to lie with such comfort, it came easily as though it’s second nature. He stumbled a couple of times in various interviews- but it didn’t seem it was from his discomfort with lying- more like trying to keep up with the tale he was weaving.

I really don’t see how he can stay...

Weiner tries to get a *porn star* to be as sleazy as he is.

I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.

I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never.

To me, the fact that at one time he suggested that his Twitter account being “hacked” could be the “tip of the spear of a terrorist attack”, should be enough to have him arrested. I mean think about it. A United States congressman suggesting that he, a member of the house of representatives, might be under a cyber terrorist attack, simply to cover his embarrassing sexual escapades. The implications of him doing that are mind boggling.

How strange that Weiners words in his speech mirrored Pelosis statement yesterday. They have circled the wagons. Funny thing is that more of what he has done will be leaking out and we’ll see just how long Pelosi will stand by the perv when she feels politically threatened by her defense of this slimeball. He’s tainted goods and po;itical power speaks louder than friendship.

The House Ethics panel should consider that Weiner is now prone to blackmail. There's now "adverse information" against Weiner that has not been made public. Breitbart claims he still has a tide of scum, including a "beyond beyond lewd" pic of the Rep., which theoretically could be used to influence Weiner's vote.

I don't think Weiner's constituents would care to be represented by the whims of our hero, Andrew Breitbart.

This story keeps on growing. Yet look at Rangel. Nothing was done to him, and he was reelected!
