Bill O'Reilly just gave the results of the poll taken to which 60,000 viewers responded. 60% chose Bachmann; 40% chose Palin. Palin also lost to Obama 55% to 40%. What the hell is going on in the minds of American voters?

I prefer Bachnann. Doesn’t mean I dislike Palin, I’m just not sure she’s running.
What is going on is the value of internet polls is zip. They are worth as much as the paper they are written on. IE worthless

This is one of those polls where you can vote as many times as you want. There are no security features whatsoever. If he put up Ron Paul vs. Bachmann, RP would win 75-25 because the Paulites love these kinds of polls. It’s no accident that underdogs usually win these.
The only poll I trust is the one on HotAir because it prevents these goofy kinds of outcomes. I’m not sure Bachmann could win 60-40 in her own congressional district over Palin.

Just run Sarah. The media have created the ultimate David and Goliath match up and it’s Obama vs Palin. American destiny of that sort always fulfills itself. I used to think Obama couldn’t lose to anyone, including Palin. I don’t know if she’s getting in (neither does anyone else) but after her bus tour I really think she can beat him. People who met her universally loved her.

I’m about to give up on political parties altogether.
My local Republican party and all our elected officials have endorsed a horrible Democrat crony capitalist project (a coal terminal) that will absolutely destroy a good portion of the county and provide very few jobs, under pressure from unions. On the other side the Democrat environmentalists only care about the coal coming through their town on the trains, not about the rural area that they were supposed to want to protect and preserve.
I am convinced that the Republicans are no different than the Democrats and are only self interested and all about power. The Republicans have no ideological core, no center. Even the so-called Tea Party is supporting the crony capitalism.
I don’t believe the polls. I believe that Sarah Palin will run and that Sarah Palin will win.

Well, if the WaPo says she can’t get elected and our best choice is Mitt Rino it must be true. Pretty much what they said about McCain at this point.
