Re Tearful Weiner Admits Sending Explicit Picture (front page, June 7):
As a constituent of Representative Anthony D. Weiner, I would hope that he takes the dignified course of action and steps down. With these pictures in the public forum and the possibility of more looming, his ability to defend my interests has diminished.
Mr. Weiner has let down all of his constituents and no longer carries the reputation needed to actively debate on a national stage. He should leave the political arena.

To the Editor:
Politicians dont seem to understand that if you get caught in a sex scandal, your career in politics is over. Its the same farce, over and over.
First, the denial. Second, the mea culpa and a refusal to resign. Third, the resignation. Its as predictable as it is sad.

To the Editor:
Anthony D. Weiners admission at his press conference hardly came as a surprise. From the beginning of this saga Mr. Weiners story did not make sense. Now he has been forthright because he knew he had no alternative.
Is his political career finished? Other politicians have kept their careers having done far worse things, but its doubtful that we will see him as a candidate for mayor of New York City.

Nice communist clenched fist salute there, perv boy.
This couldn't have happened to a nicer red Weiner.
