If she spent her own money, then it's no ones business but hers what she pays for a dress. I personally think it's incredibly stupid to shell out $7,000 for a gown, but to each his own I guess. However, if this came out of some expense account funded with tax dollars then it's a ridiculous waste of money.

I agree that she can spend her own funds on whatever she wishes, but the Obama’s are constantly tone deaf — expensive vacations, clothes, ice cream cones, golf games, etc. no matter what horrific news event is occurring.

Well i´m no Obama fan but would you really be more happy if the newsflash says wife of the US president has to buy her cloth at wal mart?

You two seem to have missed all the lectures by the Obamas for the rest of us to cut back, sacrifice and pass up earning money in favor of community service.

I agree. I just wonder if she is paying for her wardrobe with her own money. The MSM is too busy fawning over her “exquisite taste” to ask who pays for it.
