Herman Cain to join rally against climate alliance

GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain will headline a Wednesday rally in downtown New York to protest a regional global warming compact.

Cain joins the Koch-affiliated Americans for Prosperity's rally, which is scheduled for noon and is expected to draw a couple of hundred tea party supporters who want to put an end to the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.

AFP last month notched a big win when it got New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to drop out of the 10-state cap-and-trade program for power plants. Now, AFP is looking for more states to take Christie's lead.

Mike Proto, the group's spokesman, said Cain is the only GOP White House contender to accept a request to speak at the rally, which coincides with one of RGGI’s emission allowance auctions. "Invitations are extended to all the presidential candidates," he said.

Conservative talk radio host Steve Malzberg is also expected to speak at the rally.

Nice. I hope he tears Romney “apart” in the next debate over Global Warming on Monday.

I’ve said it a million times, lowering tax rates without

ELIMINATING WHOLE DEPARTMENTS

means the DISCRETIONARY SPENDING will FORCE HIGHER TAXES DOWN THE ROAD.

Eliminate departments, practically ALL non-military discretionary spending - TERMINATE FEDERAL EMPLOYEES BY THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS -

OR AMERICA FACES CATASTROPHIC CONSEQUENCES IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS

AS WE DEFAULT ON OUR CRUSHING DEBT AND JOBS START DISAPPEARING FAST, MARKETS COLLAPSE, THE DOLLAR COLLAPSES AND WE SINK INTO SHORTAGES AND CIVIL UNREST.

This is because INTEREST ON FEDERAL DEBT is getting higher every year and TAX RECEIPTS are going down because PERSONAL INCOME IS STAGNANT AND PERSONAL WEALTH IS ERODING AMONGST THE MIDDLE CLASS AND THE POOR.

The ONLY WAY OUT

is for PRIVATE CITIZENS TO ACT.

Congress is PARALYZED

fretting about getting RE-ELECTED.

GOVERNMENT WILL NOT BE THE ANSWER - IT IS IMPOSSIBLE.

NO MATTER WHO IS IN OFFICE.

Because no one in government or big business can

SEE

a solution.

I’ve listened for YEARS - since the fall of 2007 - to the talking heads, read news, waited for some business to express the RIGHT IDEA and the right idea has never ever been elucidated once.

Everyone, wealthy investors included, seems to have forgotten the fundamentals of business and free enterprise. If we operated morally and correctly, we’d have tremendous prosperity, which would “lift all boats”, i.e., benefit everyone more than where we’re going - even wealthy investors. No one is putting forth a vision and leading on this because they don’t have the vision.

I’ve got a few ideas for any ultra-conservative capitalists out there who are ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work, I invite you to visit my profile and we can talk.

Who knows ? Maybe we’ll avert disaster, re-teach the world about what free enterprise is and how it works - and make a buck while we’re at it.

Whoooopin' it up over the silly "climate change" issue does little if any good on the primary issue of this upcoming campaign...JOBS.

If you think the "silly climate change issue" is overshadowed by the jobs issue, consider this: Cap-and-Trade has the potential to totally bankrupt millions of American businesses. Think it through, then consider the one candidate that understands this.

THANK YOU THANK YOU for shoving folks self induced ignorance back in their faces. In fact, Pawlenty, who I do not support, has also come up with some good specifics on creating jobs in addition to Cain. And I’m sure the others will.

Besides, if you know what these people are about, and they ALL HAVE ENOUGH HISTORY on which to judge, you will instinctively know where they will be on most issues. But thanks for flaming those that needed it.
