A guy who shouldn’t have been eligible to play visiting a guy who wasn’t eligible to run, how fitting.

Barry only scrimmages with weak or non-existent opponents. He also runs against people who aren’t on the ballot. Real tough-guy.

Ping to the Auburn list! War Eagle!

I don’t know how they could stand it. They’re better men than I am (since I am not a man!).

Thanks for pinging me. I was on another site and someone asked who the puny Black guy was. That team was absolutely outstanding. This State Dawg can say I am really proud of them. Now, if it were that other team from this state, I would not say a thing!!!!! Although Troy has had a good team lately. : ). Oh, guess I can say I am really proud of those Dawgs for winning the regional in Atlanta.

Thanks for the ping! I had not seen this - I guess it was still an honor, in spite of who is in the White House - almost like when my Dad died and the officer presenting the flag said, “On behalf of President Obama....” But my mom still took the flag and cherishes it :)

Well, I am so conflicted about this. I think I would have bowed out from going - and let the other players get the honor. One missing wouldn’t have been so bad. But I understand, it is the White House.

Did you hear the championship rings aren’t going to be presented any time soon? I don’t have the real news, but the rumor is the rings won’t be ready for FOUR MORE YEARS! I find that difficult to understand.

Are you coming down for Camp War Eagle soon?

Bless your heart! It was a fun season. War Eagle! As for that other team, they have now lost more trees than we did and we had nothing to do with it! Well, prayers continuing for the tornado recuperation, no matter where it is.

How are you feeling these days?

Oh! I was over in Starkville on Friday. I forgot to tell you. A long-time supporter invited a few friends to her house and we got to tell them about our ministry. She is a librarian and primarily catalogues Phd theses.

I had not heard that about the rings...what in the world is up with that? I can understand several months - but FOUR YEARS??? There has to be something fishy about that.

We will be there for Camp War Eagle next week!!! Thur. and Fri - I don’t have a “parent schedule” yet but I think I pretty much know everything (lol) - Could you meet either of those day? At Toomers? Just let me know - I will try to find out if there is anything that I MUST attend....

YES! We can definitely meet. My daughter tells me you may be free sometime after 2pm on Thursday. Toomers will be great! My daughter is one of the managers there. This will be great. I’ll give you my cell via FReepmail. I’m so excited.

Auburn is in the Conservative South and I imagine that these kids were either not that 'into' politics OR their parents had trained them well enough to be polite and accept the accolades without showing deference to the person giving them.

I doubt that its an experience they'll recall with more than passing amusement as they grow older. If any of them look back on his White House adventure as a turning point in his life it will be because at that moment he decided he didn't want to become a narcissistic megalomaniac sociopath who had a 'teleprompter' handicap and played sports like a sissy! Auburn Football players are better than ....

You’ve made me feel better about the whole thing. Not very many people around here (Auburn) have been mentioning it. Either they know I hate Caligula or they ALL feel the same as I.
