It seemed like a straightforward question on a second-tier issue: Would Mitt Romney disavow the science behind global warming?
The putative Republican presidential front-runner, eager to prove his conservative bona fides, could easily have said what he knew many in his partys base wanted to hear.
Instead, the former Massachusetts governor stuck to the position he has held for many years that he believes the world is getting warmer and that humans are contributing to it.
Romneys answer to a question about climate change last Friday during his first town hall meeting since announcing his second presidential campaign allowed him to demonstrate what he hopes voters will see as a new and improved candidate an authentic leader with core convictions.
But the exchange in New Hampshire also served as a fresh indicator of Romneys great quandary. He must shed the flip-flopper reputation that haunted his last presidential campaign and also appeal to conservative voters wary of his past support for near-universal health care, abortion rights, same-sex marriage and other positions befitting a politician elected in liberal Massachusetts.

Democrat ones.
Anyone other than a liberal who votes for Romney is a fool.
Both of them have donkey faces.
“...science behind global warming...”
Bwahahaha.
That “science” can easily be disproven be any competent physics undergrad.
(Which is why no journalist can possibly ever understand it.)
It is hard to change core beliefs. If you try to change you are going to end up flipping and flopping. A tiger is a tiger a Rino is a Rino, and a leopard has spots he can’t get rid of.
I can’t ever vote for this RINO, even if this is the GOP nominee.
The inventor of Obamacare, Al Gore suckup, was for abortion and queer marriage before he was against it ... I think he is running in the wrong party primaries ... definitely a BIG “D” candidate!
GO AWAY, Mittens!
Get your hands off my healthcare, handguns & hydrocarbons.
Oh crap he believe’s in the Environmental lie???
See you Romney! Sorry I don’t believe in that fraud. The fact that you do tells me everything I need to know about you.

I am now officially totally on board — if romney gets the nod I go 3rd part in what should be a Conservative tidal wave. And if barry the zero gets in then I move to costa rica, where my money can buy me all the freedom I need.
McCain gave me heartburn. romney makes me want to vomit.
If he got into office I guarantee we will not see any additional US drilling and we will see Crap and Trade.
Rush exposed Romney on Monday and declared his candidacy TOAST. I agree totally.
If Romney is on ANY ticket, a hundred million
conservative Americans will vote against the dog abuser.
Like maybe 0.28% of any increase if there is even an increase. Which means we are not contributing to making the atmosphere warmer. Plus we are due for a return to an ice age so any warming may not be bad. Mitt is such a schmuck. He could have easily given a safe political but thoughtful answer by just saying human contribution to any warming is negligible.
over at DU or Kos drinking KoolAid? (patent pending)Getting talking points?..Gawd I'm a bit angry....We need to talk..

He is the candidate that the Rats will try to get nominated. First they know that conservatives will not be energized and second they know that not only will he not reverse many Obama era regulations, he will actually work to slowly bring MORE socialism to the US.
Like Rush said the other day when he was commenting on this (paraphrased): “Romney is through...!”
First RomneyCare, now AGW...WTF? This man stands for absolutely nothing!
Palin 2012!
