Last I knew you don't speak for Free Republic. And I for one would support a Perry/Cain candidacy in a heartbeat. Not all of us are Palin Worshipers.
Worshiper or not I think Palin will fire up the liberal base which has been nicely depressed by Obama.
Palin worshippers? Awww, that’s raw, Sir. Since when is wanting a strong conservative candidate who has a clear record of getting the job done considered worshipping? And why would it nixx you off in the first place.
Perry has a clear record of NOT GETTING THE JOB DONE, and this legislative session shows that CLEAR RECORD. He sat back and watched the whole time and let the really important legislation back up until the end and he STILL is not pulling up the legislation we clearly value!
To clean up Washington DC, we have to have a candidate who will step foot in the Oval Office and start slashing and burning government programs NOW! We are in a serious load of krap, in case you didn’t notice. Are we going to have to sit back and wait for Perry to get the load out of his behind for four years?
I like Cain, and I like having Perry for governor as opposed to having Bill White for governor. But in the Oval Office I would like to have somebody with a clear record of success, and you cannot deny what Sarah Palin accomplished in a mere three years of her governorship, INCLUDING the crown jewel of putting corrupt elected officials in jail, even in her own party.
Are you talking about the Perry that pulled 35% of the vote in a previous election and won the last one because of the choice between him and an establishment RINO (Kay Bailey Hutchinson).
I’ll stay home if that is the best the Repub’s can do...
