“What can your Member of Congress do?”

Okay, now that i’m done laughing. I was speaking with a reliable conservative today about 2012. He said it will be the economy that decides the next election. I said perhaps but illegal immigration is the line in the sand for me. “Still” he said to me,”it will be the economy” I told him then, but illegal immigration is about the economy. Hundreds of billions spent upon them. Its a yearly thing. Nobody has a real number. All we know is each year the number goes higher.
As another poster told me the other day, this is the issue that separates the men from the boys.
The wrong response from a candidate means i won’t hear anything else they have to say. Send the 20 million or so back. Until the government stops giving them my tax money, your tax money, the people i work for tax receipts, they have no ground to ask me to pay higher taxes. They stop wasting and i’ll be interested in helping with the recovery. Until then, they can go fish.
My congressman is Duncan D. Hunter who, like his dad, is 100% opposed to ILLEGAL immigration and I support him 100% because he is. No one who is soft on ILLEGALs will ever get my vote.
Deporting illegal aliens can be and should be done. Eisenhower did it. Other nations have done it. There are numerous direct and indirect ways of doing it, and in the end the will save us money and our country.
If a cesspool of corruption like Mexico can do it so can the USA.
