“You know what their reason was? They said my site was a work-at-home business opportunity site and that it violated their terms of service”

For the life of me, I don’t understand why working from home is some massively blasphemous thing to them. It’s not like you’re embezzling money at all I’m sure. I know about all those scams and suchlike, but it’s not like yours is one of them.

Has Paypal defined WAHBO? There are a number of private business concerns that do offer “business opportunities” for people to carry on “work at home” — which in turn often has a pyramidesque component for evangelizing the opportunities to others. If customized Facebook software counts, could it be because said software also self-advertises “if you would like to use this software too, please click”? It might be the pyramidesque element that Paypal is shying away from.
