You think Texas’s Perry will jump in?
If so,
What are your thoughts on him?
Thanks.

Hard to know about Rick for President. I think he will make himself “available” and might take more a wait and see attitude. I think it speaks highly of him to recognize an opportunity and be willing to see where it goes. Really don’t think this is something he’s been longing for.

As my opinion, Perry has for the most part proven to be pretty conservative. He has had some wrong moves, like Trans Texas Corridor and Guardisil, both positions he moved away from when we Texans told him he was wrong. If you look at how Texas has done while Perry has been Governor, we’ve done better than OK and a hell of a lot better than every Blue State and most Red States.

But you have to understand, A. Texas Governors are not very powerful compared to the Legislature, B. we have more than a few differences within Texas and C. Texas has a very independent streak espacially internally. Thus a Governor being able to work within those parameters requires quite the dancer and Perry has done better than most. His traits may be more useful like a Dick Cheney on the national stage. One thing I find above average is that Perry will stand up to nobama and tell him Don’t Mess With Texas!

Those you hear from on FR that HATE PERRY can sometimes be followed back to ronpaul camp, maybe because of Deb Medina’s hard fall.
