You might as well ask if Huma secretly converted to Judaism. I know a Christian and a Jew who have Muslim wives, no one converted. As long as a Judge (or former President) performs the nuptials, there's nothing any Imam or Rabbi can do to stop it.

On a related note, I've recently been wondering if it was actually Huma who sent the public tweet which caused the whole house of cards to come tumbling down. The marriage reeks of political convenience (Hillary's girlfriend needed a husband, candidate for NYC mayor needed a wife) - and maybe Huma decided to take out a prominent pro-Israel politician. Just a thought.

Omar Abu-Namous is the imam of the Islamic Cultural Center in New York and he is encouraging Huma Abedin – a practicing muslim – to stand by her husband, New York congressman Anthony Weiner. Why would this imam support Anthony Weiner, who was raised Jewish, in a marriage with a practicing muslim woman?
