I suggest that you be careful with the shoving or jamming or you will take the pistol out of battery and have a fail to fire. One of my men did that in the heat of combat after being shot. He thought his pistol was defective so he pulled his backup and did the job.

Bingo. Given the vows and circumstances, there is no other logical conclusion to arrive at.
What strikes me as odd is that, while the .25 is not so hot, the .22 has a reputation as deadly. First, at close range, it was good enough for a team of mafia killers (also a racist serial killer).
But its real secret is that for some weird reason, the .22 round has a knack for nicking internal organs just enough to cause lethal peritonitis. The victim will seem to be getting better, then a few days later will develop a very high temperature that no amount of antibiotic will quell, and dies.
