I would not want him hanged. I would prefer he be forced to live as a slave. and allowed only to be visited by Christians—or Jews-for the rest of his miserable life. But then I recall our Bible says thou shalt not suffer a murderer to live. So maybe a better response would have been to behead him back when he was captured and let the Almighty God educate the misguided Muslim about those 72 virgins-and other Lies of his false religion.
