The court ruled that Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi's ruling, which had held up implementation of the collective bargaining law, was void ab initio, or invalid from the outset.Does that mean that contracts that were forced to be agreed in the interim are null & void? (hoping...)

This demonstrates just how important elections are. If David Prossers opponent had won the election, this would surely have gone the other way. You mean the disgustingly ugly JoAnne Kloppenburg, who demanded that Judge Prosser concede the election when she thought she'd won by 200 votes, then herself refused to concede when all the votes were in and she found out she'd lost by more than 7000 votes?

Isn’t the Prosser victory still in dispute? If so, should we anticipate a legal challenge on that basis?

I bet the Walkerville miscreants are gonna be out of sorts tonight. The adults are ignoring their temper tantrum.

Isnt the Prosser victory still in dispute? Kloppenburg abandoned her recounts at the end of May and conceded.

Take a look at the dissents by Chief Justice Abrahamson and Justice Crooks. Very unprofessional in that they engage in petty, almost personal insults.
Not surprised. I don't even need to know who the dissenting judges are. I can tell that they are political animals. When I took Civics way back in high school and then later in college we were taught that Appellate Judges were not supposed to let their political leanings affect their decisions. What a joke that is. With the US Supreme Court I can predict with a high degree of certainty which judges are going to go which way on a given issue. Just tell me the issue and the vote count and I can tell you which way the judges are gonna go. It's not 100% but I can get into the 90s. And I have no legal background. It's not supposed to be that way, but judges have become political animals. Maybe they always were.

You think it's over? Ever see Night of the Living Dead? That's the way liberals behave. You got it!! They will not stop!
They've got their recall elections going and they'll find a liberal judge somewhere to continue their fight. But, accept loosing? Never!!

Sumi’s opinion was overtly political. She should be recalled/removed from office.

Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson and Justices Ann Walsh Bradley and N. Patrick Crooks - concurred in part and dissented in part.
I just did a bio on Shirley Abrahamson and she is EXACTLY what I thought she would be. I'm not surprised by her background one bit. I had a strange feeling about her and my suspicions were confirmed by her bio. These things are so damn predictable.
