People ask me why I believe Russia will march on Israel one day

They'll be marching on horseback because the rest of the Russian milltary is in shambles/a joke (execpt for the land-based ICMB's).

Ping to the End Time List.

Possible link to the coalition of nations mentioned in Ezekiel 38-39, better known as the Gog-Magog War.

Russia is trying to not be the first hit by Iran’s nuclear bomb. They hope they will attack others initially.

Ping

Good ole Russia is getting into a defense alliance with Iran to “counter-balance” the military power of the West. Looks like China is in on it, too.

Not good!

Also, we have the Congress suing Obama over violating the constitution with Libyan war.

Ahmadinejad called Wednesday for a security alliance of several former Soviet nations and China to form a united front against the West.

Like who didn't see this coming. It's been on the backburner moving right along for some time. Russia and China will let Ahmadinejad take center stage on this though...they are playing him to their advantage. In the end though....Russia will act with Iran and then turn on Iran, China will act alone...as always.

Things are falling into place nicely for a major conflagration in the Middle East. Just sayin'.

Yes indeed....and Obama is playing a role in it by weakening our nation from interfering. This too was to be expected as without our nation weakened they would not dare to act...and that's coming! The fact they are announcing this publicly now, likely they have their ducks pretty much in a row already. Obama has certainly given them the ground to work it!

I knew it as well but I believe it is about Eurasianism.

And it was popular in the 1920's, has had a huge surge of renewal in Russia in the last ten years under a man who has been on television a great deal by the name of Alexander Dugin. It is a form of geopolitics.

I think now they call it neo-eurasianism, but it is not new and neither is this thing with Putin and his asian buddying up.

Ahmadinejad needs to crack a history book or two. Russia has tried to extend its influence into the area since Peter the Great. Russian gifts tend to have strings attached. Some of them are chains.

Eurasianism was also highly popular with Stalin after World War II.

.they are playing him to their advantage. In the end though....Russia will act with Iran and then turn on Iran, China will act alone...as always.

You could be very right. Historically, Russia & Iran have Always been enemies. Though now, there is mutual interest in being superficially united. The history of China & Iran is very different, more congenial & out of mutual respect - it goes back a long way. I believe, end of the day, China is more likely to be a long term supporter of Iran against the West than Russia.

In your post #28 you say: Obama is playing a role in it by weakening our nation from interfering. -- If the 'interference' is done intelligently & constructively, then it'd be great. Otherwise, it'll have the potential to be counterproductive even destructive to the U.S. & others.

Consider why Khomeini & Islamic insurgency were supported in Iran during Carter administration, under the banner of *democracy*. -- It was the Cold War at the time, with people such as Brzezinski and other Carter advisors worrying about the Soviet influence in Iran. Even as the Shah almost had a pathological dislike of the communists in Iran and their Soviet masters, who had been continuously trying to instigate trouble & even partition parts of Iran, namely Azarbaijan & other Northern provinces such as Gilan & Mazandaran along the Caspian Sea. The Shah even took very strong measure against the communists in Iran. Savak was mandated to watch out for those Iranians, in Iran & abroad, who had communist leanings or sympathies, and arrest & imprison them - they were seen as a real & dire threat.

However, the Shah's efforts weren't sufficient for Carter & Brzezinski. They foolishly thought Islam in the guise of Khomeini, whom Carter apparently once compared to Gandhi & a Saint, was more of a counter-strategy against the evil Soviets (the commies). It didn't quite work out as envisioned by Carter & his luminaries. Ironically, since 1979 Islamic revolution, it is the same Khomeinist (Islamic) regime that has increasingly established an alliance with no longer the Soviets, but the Russians. And, has often shown the middle finger to the Americans.

So, to restate your previous point, "interference" can be good, provided it is done in a calculated manner to not backfire.

Obama doesn't have the ability to calulate this IMO. Someone is playing him as well, though he imagines it's his wit. He's really not that important on the International Stage now..apart from how much more they can milk out of country in revenues , and the Muslim nations are part of the deals he has struck as we know.

Russia and China have been cuddling up close behind the scenes for sometime. Neither give a rats dung about the middle-easterns, they each have an ultimate goal which is the resources in the middle east... and that's a silent war between them which will play out in the future.

Interesting they both see Iran's issues with Israel as standing in the way. Thus they have to let the Irianian leadership in as a player on their team.

I suspect Russia will one day join with Iran and go after Israel...Russia can't do it alone, history has shown thus, so taking them on as an alley, and ditching them once they have their armorment located throughout the middle-east, and in place. China will be mostly a spectater while positioning themselves to come into the fray once Russia turns on the Iranians. China's not about to let Russia take the resources without a fight if they have to, but by then Russia will be weakened....they'l come swarming in.

Course this is just speculating...but fun to watch the players. I have often said if you want to know what's happening just watch who is sleeping with who in all nations leadership.

But the US will at most be called on for their military and money...if that, and by then the American people will likely be fed up with war and let the best man win. Libya is a good example.

Remember please that Muslim slave traders went inland and brought the slaves out for sell to the West. The Arabic word for black and slave are supposedly the same word. When they went into an area they enslaved and sold those who were not Christian or Jewish. Slavery exists now..right now in the Middle East.

It is well known to cursory observation that Russia wants the oil of the Middle East and that getting the arabs to wish to venge or take the prey, Israel, is the conduit to that.

The writing is on the wall. We should fix our fiscal house, stop policing the entire world, bring our troops home and begin re-equipping them, rapidly proceed with our own missle defense shield, rapidly develop our domestic energy capabilities, eliminate useless alliances, and all around focus inward as a preparation for the trials that will come; the century of warfare is repeating itself.

Thanks for the ping, paladin1.

The alliances of nations given in Exekiel 38-39 continue to form and grow closer and closer.

We were told 2500 years ago this was going to happen and now it is.

We are the generation which will see the return of Jesus Christ!
