HOUSTON - Police have arrested a Transportation Security Administration officer on accusations of theft.

The arrest was the result of an internal investigation, according to a TSA statement.

The employee was employed with the agency since 2002.

The TSA states the action of this officer does not reflect on the approximately 50,000 officers who work to protect the public.

That’s funny. I started putting a note just inside the bag that says, “TSA, there is nothing worth stealing in this bag”. They have stolen several items that have been more a nuciance than anything else, but it is the principal of it. They have free reign to steal whatever they want from us and they are paid by us. nice.

I travel to California to visit relatives each Christmas and take a cooler with several whole beef tenderloins and freeze packs along. It’s a naturally suspicious package that often gets inspected. Since the tenderloins are about 10 degees below zero and weign abougt five pounds apiece, none of them has been stolen. However, last year some creep stole two of my four freeze packs.

Baggage handlers work for the airline. They are not TSA. TSA are government employees. Bush tried to insist on private contractors but the Dems wouldn’t stand for it. They need those union dues, ya know.

Same thing happened to us on our way to Paris. We did not realize anything was missing until we got to our hotel. We too are trying to deal with American Airlines for relief. I am not holding my breath.

This is disgusting. While in London, we met a pilot with AA and he said what is happening that a TSA agent is Xraying and then he signals to his buddy which bag to open and lift the loot.

Disgusting!!! My daughter lost a valuable necklace and bracelet and my husband lost an expensive leather jacket.

TSA goons search your checked bags..they can have sticky fingers too. And if anything is missing..well I don’t much care if it is TSA or some baggage handler I will scream to high heaven about it..I did make an issue of the TSA locks and guess what? I was reimbursed for them!
