I'm just wondering why Tim Pawlenty is the only one taking heat for not taking on Romney. Yes, he passed on it in the debate, but he has been forceful ever since. See his interview with Hannity on HotAir.
Bachmann continually passes on opportunities to take on Romneycare. Why is that?
Full Disclosure: Palin supporter who'll probably vote for Pawlenty if she doesn't jump in. Bachmann would have been my second choice but the Rollins thing and her reluctance to take on Romney has changed my mind.
Should we assume the question to be rhetorical? One could speculate that the time is not ripe to campaign against each other while the field is unclear about which issues resonate with the electorate. For myself, anyone standing up against fascist governance from any quarter (and I hold ObamaRomnacare to be utterly fascist) attracts my attention and may get my vote. So, I’m happy with Tim’s initial stance. Other candidates probably have issues they are highlighting at the moment so turning to include attacking Romney on this issue may cloud their own campaign strategies.
The candidates ARE permitted to pursue strategies, yes?
Didn’t I see and hear Michelle Bachmann vow on to repeal Obamacare if president. I liked the timbre of her voice, her powerful body language as she said it, and I think she even received some applause for saying it..... Or was I simply dreaming?
My point is Tim Pawlenty is taking a lot of heat for passing on his opportunity to go after Romney in the debate. But before and after the debate, he has done what none of the other candidate have done, attack Romneycare. It should be the other candidates taking heat, not Pawlenty.
Pawlenty isn’t the only one.
(Examples) So has Cain:

Just because you don’t see it in the news doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. I think the media has been trying to prop up Pawlenty to the Tea folks because he is, frankly, weak. He is a Conservative but he isn’t a dynamic character.
MB is Mittens’ stalking horse to dilute Sarah’s support so the Mythster wins the nomnation.
MB is rewarded with VP slot.
This morning on F&F, MB continues to avoid critizing RomneyCare - doesn’t want to bite tha hand that feeds her the VP position.
Never mind, ignore my last post. I saw Romneycare but I read Obamacare.. same thing. :->
Exactly...she’s not criticizing Romney because she’s running for VP.
I should think the question answers itself. Even FOX now follows the establishment meme, which, at the moment appears not to want to criticize ObamaRomamacare.
Pawlenty was, I think, considered to be something of a moderate Republican, and his intense criticism of Rommey moves him dramatically rightward. That alone would draw media fire, don’t you think?
She wants VP.
because Pawlenty is vying to be Palin’s VP while Bachmann wants to be Romney’s.
Ya think?
tacky tacky tacky - pawlenty demeritz out the hiney hole - on hannity he is NOW - once again - out of the presence of (vomit) romney - he is AGAIN attacking romneycare
She should also ask him why he believes that a trace gas that constitutes 0.117% of the greenhouse effect is the primary cause of global warming.
Where did all this rumor about Bachmann as Romney VP come from? I see it repeated over and over. Was there some sort of sourcing on this idea, or is it just a rumor?
That's because he was the one that coined the phrase, "Obamneycare" before the debate. He led the charge and backed off. He even admits he made a mistake.
Because Bachmann might be his running mate in 2012.
For God’s sake. Bachmann has been out there attacking Obamacare from the start. Quit embarrassing yourself.
You folks must really be afraid of her.
Go vote for TPaw then, at least he is a candidate.
I’d like to see Sarah and Michelle in a one to one debate, wouldn’t you?
