I find that people who use gutter language leave a lot to be desired. I did not grow up that way and no one uses that kind of language around me. My dad died when he was 82 and my mom died just 3 months short of being 103. I never, ever heard them use inappropriate language so we never did. But, I grew up in the 1950’s. Things were a whole lot different way back then. I have less respect for people who talk like they grew up in a sewer.

I understand that is is accepted and expected to admonish a child even one that is not your own in the Deep South like in Alabama. We need to return to those values again ! Even more, if you are across town and pull something, before you even get home, your parents already know and have a can of woop @$$ ready as well !

An interesting item, many years ago I was at the video store and there was this 13 year old sassing his grandmother. I was right behind and I bit my tongue very hard ! All I did was give dirty looks to the kid.

Uh, no.

There are about 15 million people in NYC on any given day. To be sure, there's a whole bunch of jerks among them; maybe even more than the entire population of Binghamton. But anyone who spends more than two hours in NYC knows that the nice experiences vastly outweigh the unpleasant ones; and most things are just normal.

I wonder how much time you've been in NYC, as compared to maybe fantasizing about it?
