Zeta captives have to fight or die
San Antonio Express News ^ | 15 June 2011 | Dane Schiller

In one of the most chilling revelations yet about the violence in Mexico, a drug cartel-connected trafficker claims fellow gangsters have kidnapped highway bus passengers and forced them into gladiatorlike fights to groom fresh assassins.

The elderly are killed. Women raped. And able-bodied men are given hammers, machetes and sticks and forced to fight to the death.

In an interview arranged by intermediaries on condition neither his name nor the location of his Texas visit be published, the trafficker also admitted to helping push $5 million to $10 million a month worth of cocaine into the U.S.

Law-enforcement sources confirm he is a cartel operative, but not a fugitive from pending charges.

If what he says is true, gangsters who commonly practice beheadings, hangings and quarterings of bodies have managed an even crueler twist to their barbarity.

Members of the Zetas cartel, he says, have pushed passengers into an ancient Roman-like blood sport with a modern Mexico twist that they call, 'Who is going to be the next hit man?'"

"They cut guys to pieces," he said.

The victims are likely among the hundreds of people found in mass graves in recent months, he said.

In the vicinity of the Mexican city of San Fernando, about 85 miles from Brownsville, nearly 200 bodies were unearthed from pits and authorities said most appeared to have died from blunt-force trauma to the head.

Many are believed to have been dragged off buses traveling through Mexico, but little has been said about the circumstances of their deaths.

SNIP

"The stuff you would not think possible a few years ago is now commonplace," said Peter Hanna, a retired FBI agent. "It used to be you'd find dead bodies in drums with acid; now, there are beheadings."

Oversee fair elections.

If you do that you live with the consequences. Ignorant populations will give you elections like in Gaza where they all voted for Hamas, or the United States where they all voted for American Idle.

“Many of the Zetas are ex-military trained by the USA”

So are a lot more of us. Maybe this country would be stronger if the civilian population had to take a hand in its survival.

Build a fence then give drones to the Mexicans to kill the Zeta leadership. But reason we don't do this is we figure the Zetas will retaliate by bringing Muslim terrorists across the border.

Nah.

We don't do it because we know the cartels will bribe the Mexican ground crews and pilots to mount luggage pods stuffed with drugs under the wings for low level flights north across the big river. :-)

Two or three Air National Guard units in Texas and New Mexico fly Predators. Best to keep command and control on this side of the river. Otherwise, excellent idea.

Step one:

Ask the Israelis how they keep terrorists out.

We would have to stay in Mexico forever, corruption is ingrained, I have been told he came with the Spanish.

We stayed in Hawaii and Alaska forever, too. :)

Well then, we will send Democrats, who are expert at holding free elections (in which they are instructed who to vote for). :)

It would not bother me a bit to take over Mexico by force. I have a feeling that the good people of Mexico would love it.

I’m still waiting to see if some brain surgeon ‘journalist’ will make the connection between LaRaza and Los Zetas.

The stupid, lazy and cowardly Americans using illegal drugs have never hurt anyone. They’re too stupid, lazy and chicken to change their reality, so they take drugs to ignore their reality for a few minutes and send funds to the most vicious groups in the history of the world. Everything will be fine, and the flying pigs will deliver their drugs, if they’re legalized.

Training and proving grounds for new airborne weapons. Say we have a Nuke that has been around for a bit. We load it on a B52 and bombs away.
Mexico is a crap-hole filled with savages. A nuke here and there might improve their condition.

“If you’re one of those captured, the only option is to get on your knees and give yourself to Christ, pronto.”

Good point but why wait until your are captured? Do it before capture, who knows but that Jesus might spare you the ordeal. It is all in His control.

I am hearing that the highways of the southern part of places like Arizona are becoming dangerous for travel with Zetas opening patrolling the highways with mounted machine guns and other weaponry.

Maybe that’s BS, but I know it’s very dangerous to be out in the desert in those areas. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were out on the highways now too.

No, if drugs are decriminalized then we’ll have Zetas operating “drug stores” all across the US. Take a look at the Indians and casinos. Give them an inch and they’ll take a mile.

“Decriminalize drugs today and this will stop tomorrow.”

No, it won’t. They will traffic some other illegal commodity, even if they have to invent it.
