That's a naive proposition. We're not there yet. We need to capture another branch of government first. We need another branch of Congress or the Presidency or both.

Then the debt ceiling stays right where it is or Republicans are finished...

It doesn’t and they won’t be. You have to raise the debt ceiling. We only control the House, but you can wring concession out of them and we are.

The question that must be asked is “what is to be gained, what is to be lost?”.
