Careful with that thought. There's already been talk of licensing journalists..............restricting the 2nd amendment under the guise of protecting it...............and yes the guy is a jerk, but that ain't against the law..........yet...............
The industry is self-regulating with regard to who should or should not be afforded the privileges of being a “news reporter” - a writer for Howard Stern does not pass the simplest of those tests... working for a bonafide news organization or program. Howard Stern is not a news program, nor is he a news anchor or reporter, so anyone representing Stern is not due the privileges afforded true working reporters.
