well, not "plenty", percentage wise. Quite a few. And, of course, I can imagine the indian reporter saying "gorblimey, no one wants to read another article about the wealth gap in india, that won't sell, let's say "oh, look -- even the great USA has problems"" --> the US counts -- everyone compares themselves to us and even compare their problems to ours.
