There are elections in Kentucky in 2011 for all the major state offices...in some other states as well (MS, WV...any others?). The results could at least have some impact on the momentum going into the 2012 elections...let's not forget them.
Here's the GOP candidate's info here: James Comer
ping
I am astonished that a candidate in Kentucky would ssy this out loud. One would expect this to deep-six his campaign.
So the Rats are running a bad really bad Don Rickles insult comic for an elected position. Most of their candidates are bad jokes anyway. Why should this one be any different.
If anyone deserves being made fun of in KY, it is this dude. What serious person wears polyester pimp clothes like that guy?

Another thing is the guy’s name is “Farmer”, and clearly this is an attempt to confuse voters into thinking he is the GOP incumbent (now running for Lt Governor), the usual Dem dirty tricks. He should stick to his comedy schtick.
Probably not a good idea as a representative to tell those jokes but if it was anyone else it’d be fine.
This unqualified d-bag has great fashion sense. ;d
He should run for seedy hipster nightclub commissioner.
...for those interested. :D
This guy has been telling jokes like this for decades...now it’s a “problem”?
I joke all the time about the 12 washing machines I have on my front porch. Anyone know of a good sink hole I can pitch them in?
if that was a bad joke, how about this, how do we know that the toothbrush was invented in Ky ???
anywheres else itd be called a teethbrush...
try the veal...8^}
Disparaging? Yeah, it was stupid for him to do this now. Just means he’s not very discerning. Has the inability to consider the “future”...but really, I’ve lived in KY my entire life. I don’t need prompting on what to be “outraged” about. And this doesn’t personally bother me.
yep...pretty much, all applies.....
apparently, the Democrat county judges over in Eastern Kentucky are advising the Dem candidate not to show up in their counties as he is not welcome. If he cannot carry eastern Kentucky as a Democrat, his chances of defeating Comer are dwindling. That should be his base vote that he builds upon.
