Less than a month after she appeared poised to shake up the Republican presidential campaign, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has once again receded from the 2012 limelight. When Palin launched her "One Nation" bus tour on Memorial Day amid a swirl of media attention and excitement from her fervent fan base, many political observers who had once dismissed her were reminded of the jolt that her candidacy could provide to what has thus far been a relatively sleepy GOP nominating fight.

Reagan didn’t declare until Labor Day weekend. Worked pretty good for him. There is no hurry.

I thought RCP had the inside scoop. Or at least it seemed like they did on the East Coast trip. But maybe she’s waiting for the theater release of Undefeated to go back out in the road.
Maybe she was concerned for the safety of the public, what with all the hypnotized papparazzi in her thrall, careeening around, speeding and running red lights, chasing her down to condemn her as a “media whore,” lol.

My guess it is not a Pit Stop, but one of her perverbial "Re-Loads" and I haven't figured it out just yet.
Again I think that she wants one more summer with her kids before they live in the "bubble"... I still say she annouces sometime in the fall possibly September.
You’re right. There’s nothing wrong with the Labor Day timetable, especially for a candidate like Palin who already has a huge base, tremendous name recognition and the ability to raise millions the first day she declares.
It’s not timing that’s the issue with Sarah Palin. I think she can (within reason) pick her own timing. It’s whether or not she thinks she’s the best candidate to remove the Communist Party from the White House.
I think that’s her number one goal: helping to remove the Communist Party from the White House.
Whatever she thinks is the best thing for her to do to advance that goal is what she’s going to do.
Considering the unemployment numbers, Labor Day might actually be a great time to declare.

There is nothing in the entire article except speculation but it's the kind of snarky hit piece that gets you all excited.
Good point. Excellent point. Since everything Palin does is automatically put into the harshest media glare possible (as they try to “ignore” her, hahahahahahaha), what better way to highlight the Kenyan King’s Unemployment Problem than to declare her own candidacy on Labor Day.
She isn’t going to announce until after July 26th anyway, as that date is the official Persecution Limit for Alaskan Governors.
If she announces before that date, she would face a million baseless ethics charges which would bankrupt her.
Oh, they know this. They've had this patiently explained to them, on these very boards, dozens upon dozens upon dozens of times.

You do know that the Presidential election is in November 2012 and NOT November 2011. Right?
HaHa! I bet the media knows this also and is trying to use her non-media tour to raise questions and disappoint supporters.
I still haven't made up my mind about her, but I do love how she gets the media to rub their own collective faces into their own feces. Right now I'm bending over like Ace Ventura with both hands on my cheeks saying to the media......loooooseeersssss!!!! At this point, I think the media is afraid of her. That is why the overt attention.
