Agent's shot kills rock thrower at border fence

SAN YSIDRO — A Border Patrol agent shot and killed a man who was trying to enter the country from Mexico Tuesday night during a fight that left another agent injured.

The agent spotted three men who were crossing at the border fence just before 7:30 p.m. and called for assistance, San Diego police homicide Lt. Ernie Herbert said.

Border Patrol Agent Michael Jimenez said the location was 1.6 miles west of the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

It is deadly force to throw rocks at the Agents and officers. That is called “stoning” in another part of the world. Same thing. Throw rocks at Agents and officers, expect deadly force in return.

A rock or piece of wood with a nail in it, thrown from above, is a deadly weapon. The agent doubtless feared for his life and the lives of his colleagues. His action was justified.

In any case, if these people had not been trying to break into our country, no one would have been hurt. Let us watch this: remember the shameless spectacle in which every Democrat in Congress cheered the corrupt president of Mexico as he attacked the people of Arizona. Today's Democrat Party automatically sides with foreign criminals over honest Americans.
