Being a DM means having to deadpan lots of stuff.
It is rather hard, a sense of sadistic humor is needed.
Like, having a “choose your doom” deck of “what kills me now” cards that the player must draw from when the DM notices they didn’t do a proper spot check upon entering a room.
Alright, I remember the “Hand of Vecna.” I remember the “Eye of Vecna.” I even recall the “Teeth of Delanar(sp?).” But I don’t remember the “Head of Vecna.”
