WASHINGTON — For the first time, minorities make up a majority of babies in the U.S., part of a sweeping race change and a growing age divide between mostly white, older Americans and predominantly minority youths that could reshape government policies.
Preliminary census estimates also show the share of African-American households headed by women — mostly single mothers — now exceeds African-American households with married couples, a sign of declining U.S. marriages overall but also of continuing challenges for black youths without involved fathers.
The findings, based on the latest government data, offer a preview of final 2010 census results being released this summer that provide detailed breakdowns by age, race and householder relationships.

Probably the most worrisome aspect to this it is the apparent large growth of illegitimacy. I cannot remember the source, but I understand that is the single most reliable predictor of criminal tendencies. (When you adjust for socioeconomic factors, race ceases to predict anything.)

Just left NYC where I go to visit my daughter and her family. Every time I go I am more amazed at the number of people speaking everything but English! Many of the languages I cannot identify.

I'll say it again. I'd like to read what future history books will say about our culture. I'll bet it won't be nice, A few years ago, the Prime Minister of Japan made an honest critical remark about the ignorant direction U.S. culture was headed. The Libs in the U.S. went bonkers. But, he was correct.
If I were a young white man in this country, I'd be looking for the exit. Depending on how things go for the next couple years, I may take an extended vacation somewhere else. Either that or buy more ammunition.

White women are just too busy working, talking on their cell phones, hanging out at the local Starbucks sipping lattes, going to school, watching the TV or surfing the Internet, going on vacation, or other self-involved activities to worry about getting married and having children.
They are of European, Catholic descent. At legal immigration levels, they would assimilate into U.S. culture very easily.
I lived in a neighborhood with a large Puerto Rican population for 20 years. The first generation spoke very little English. Their kids spoke both English and Spanish. And by the third generation, the Spanish was somewhat understood, but not spoken.
It's the same pattern that Italian-American families experienced (among others). If not for the illegal part, there would be nothing here of interest.

I have documented when the cell rings the very first item of business is to tap the brakes and disengage the cruise control. Then, when the blonde talks, she slows down to about 50 and while listening she speeds up to about 75. So she yo-yo’s down the interstate.
My wife and I took a count and figured around 65% of the drivers on I-77 were yaking on a cell phone and 100% of blondes in SUVs were on the phone.
That is assuming there will still be a United States. Technically, the United States of America ended on Jan 20th, 2009.
Also although black and hispanics considered together will be a majority (and majority voting block), each will still be a minority in their own right relative to whites. So each subset will still claim minority status for decades to come, although their combined vote will be a majority. Say goodbye to your 401K when it's voted away from you.
