Saying you can negotiate with the Taliban to find a “political solution” is as absurd as negotiating with Himmler to negotiate “peace” in WWII. There is no moderate Taliban, they’re extremist by nature and to say otherwise is a lie.
Also time for Hamed Karzai to haul *ss for retirement in Switzerland where he can enjoy all the money he stole and to hell with his country.
The guy did well for himself. I can still remember him sitting in the bleachers next to Mrs. Bush hearing GW intone at the State of the Union address that ‘Islam is a religion of peace.’
Nothing really changed since then except that Karzai got filthy rich.

Not crazy at all. I have long felt that the only way islamic society could change is for the women and children to rise up, and if necessary, fight for their freedom.
They have the most to lose from islam.

Exactly right. Go to the villages get all the Afghan women together and give them combat training and weapons and ammo. Then say this: when the Taliban come, kill them. When they come for your children, kill them. If your husband comes to rape you or your children, kill him. I guarantee you will find there is a new reality set in among these tribal barbarians. An armed society (where men and women equally access arms) is a polite society. An armed society where one sex has a monopoly is a tyranny.
This could be why Michelle and the girls traveled separately from Obama. He knows they are going to be TARGET NUMBER ONE the minute we pull out ~ Afghans, in general, prefer personal revenge.
I work for Boeing in Mesa on the AH-64 APACHE Longbow attack helicopter and last week we had a ceremony celebrating the 236th Birthday of the U.S. Army. I felt a strong sense of pride well up inside and then I thought about the Muslim, Marxist that is currently occupying the White House and that sense of pride turned instantly to DISDAIN!! There is not a person on the face of God’s green earth that I loathe more than Barack Hussein Obama. He is just another enemy of this Great Nation. God continue to bless the USA! And a personal thank you to the men and women who proudly serve our Great Nation in the Armed Services! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for procuring and securing the Freedoms and Liberties that we all so richly enjoy.
I’d say once we leave it’ll be like Vienam etc. All those countrys turned into full bloodbaths with the commies the Khmer Rouge...just a mess. But no one heard much, no one covered much, just little tidbits on page 20 of the newspaper, same with Timor or Sudan. In Afghanistan it’s too wild, no one cares that much so unfortunately the women and children, those that ran with the Americans and allies will be slaughtered and , well, I hope and pray not but history will probably repeat itself.
