"ATF served Special Agent Vince Cefalu with termination paperwork today."

That's the word from Jay Dobyns, himself a subject of Bureau retaliation, in a post on CleanUpATF.

Gun Rights Examiner reported on Cefalu in May of last year--He was the agent assigned to do nothing because he came forward to complain about ATF mismanagement.

From Dobyns post:

So who gets fired in the wake of the ATF Operation Fast and Furious scandal? Acting head Ken Melson? Nope. A whistleblower gets fired...despite promises from ATF not to retaliate.

This is one of the gummit-unionized positions, no? So the ATF would have to go through hell and high water with interminable hearings and court appearances to make the firing stick, no?

Let's revolt and start all over again.

We'll keep the Constitution and all the founding documents, but every agency, every treaty, all the mud and bullshit of the last 220 years or so goes out the window.

(Prepared for all the "we don't have the time, the men, the attitude, the _______ ... whatever )

We certainly are going to hell quickly while we wring our hands.

Let's just get it on.

Don’t you get it? Whistleblowers are only cool when a R is in the White House.

At the very least, these two gentlemen can get crack lawyers and sue the a$$ off of the ATF.

One of the risks a manager takes in these cases is firing or punishing the whistleblower. After all, his good buddy might be the guy who gets the top guy's job.

I suspect, on the other hand, that the ATF budget is not going to be sufficient to support much of anything this next year.

"ATF served Special Agent Vince Cefalu with termination paperwork today."

I'm thinking it is high time for some arrest warrants.

Murder arrest warrants.

Drop a few of these BATFEces goons in the pokey on potential 20-30 year sentences and watch how fast the rest start talking.

Specifically, what did Holder and his crew actually do here? Not some ATF fall guy but what was going on at the top of the food chain?

This politicization of the original Gunwalker program into little Ø'Bammy's Fast & Furious attack on American Citizens Second Amendment rights needs FULL exposure and prosecution.

In the words of Bob Owens... "with deliberate and careful prosecutions"

That is what needs to start with BATFEces and then be applied to the entire litany of alphabet agencies. Clean house, jail the government employee criminals hiding behind "definitions" and twisted excuses and bring back at least a SHRED of common decency to the fed.gov.

Right now I can't see any at all.

You would steal the bread from the mouths of 125 million Americans, and so would I.

there was a thread earlier today from a See BS story in which an unnamed administration source said that Issa had been breifed about gunrunner back in April and had no objections...

Issa’s response was awesome- “so the administration claims they didn’t know any of the details about gunrunner but now claim congress was briefed on the details???”

they are running scared...

Outrageous action taken by these corrupt bastards.

Issa sure better be good and have his ducks in a row.

So Rep Issa has cause to issue a new set of supoenas.

How likely is it that there is NO paper trail for this firing?

Does anyone not notice that this is a murder case?

I mean - this isn’t arming questionable combatants - this was arming enemy combatants.

How many lawyers do you think called the guy -100? 200?

The government doesn’t even pretend to play by the rules anymore. This is tyranny.

“This has become the specter of a truly Orwellian world where whistleblowing has become espionage.” According to The New Yorker, the Obama administration has used the Espionage Act of 1917 to press criminal charges in five alleged instances of national security leaks—more such prosecutions than have occurred in all previous administrations combined.

The Mexican government is supposedly POd that these guns ended up killing 150 Mexican officials.

Issa could transmit the names of all the possibly guilty people to the Mexican government with the suggestion they be delivered up for trial there.

Or, BATF personnel can learn to go along with the investigation.

Oh, yeah, throw Holder's name in there too. He'd love that.

Why can’t a state arrest a federal official for conspiracy to murder???

If someone does some research with access to LexusNexus, I’ll bet it HAS been done before.

Arrest the top BATF guys at Phoenix. They knew...and they were warned. “I was following orders” is not an excuse.

The Whistleblower may successfully sue, but the immediate impact may be to shut up other possible witnesses. Timing may be everything. The plaintiffs may win, but ATF defendents may skate in immediate future and any damages are paid by government.

"They can buy/make their own damn bread, just like I have had to do since I was 16 years old."

They can, but they don't have to. They can vote for you to do it. What're you going to do, stop paying taxes?

Our ancestors fought a revolution against the most powerful nation on earth at the time over some piddling tea tax, and now look at us. They'll take everything we have and then piss on us for good measure.
