In an interview with CNN, First Lady Michelle Obama thanks the media for their "support" and "kindness."

CNN reporter: "How's the family ready for this [the election]? It's going to be quite vicious, isn't it? How do you prepare for that?"

First Lady Michelle Obama: "You know, it's … we're ready, you know. Our children, you know, could care less about what we're doing. We work hard to do that. Fortunately, we have help from the media. I have to say this: I'm very grateful for the support and kindness that we've gotten. People have respected their privacy and in that way, I think, you know, no matter what people may feel about my husband's policies or what have you, they care about children and that's been good to see."

I enjoyed the pictures of Michelle Obama and the girls in Africa — they seemed very happy there and I’m sure they were an inspiration to everyone they met.

I am glad you are enjoying the pictures; they're costing you and all taxpayers a fortune. At least they seem happy on this boondoggle and we're getting nice photos. /sarc

Funny how those same media types that “care about children” seem to have no problem picking on Sarah Palin’s children.

An inspiration? Inspiration to do what?

Travel first class with all your pals while the taxpayers that are picking up the tab are losing their jobs, homes and ways of life?

Inspiration to tell everyone else how to live and how to ‘tighten our belts’ and then go take 40 of your “closest friends” to Spain?

Inspiration to lie every time you open your mouth?

I could go on and on....but I think you got my drift.

CNN and the rest of the crooked media have their heads so far up the Obamas’ sphincters that the FDA regulates them as hemmorhoid remedies.

Mooshell is hoping she can have 4 more years of publicly paid multi-million dollar vacations, designer wardrobes, private celebrity entertainment and gormet food.

People that inspire me are people that work hard for their success, are humble, don’t brag in speeches about themselves, are generous and give something back to others. They don’t have to be famous, by the way.

Michelle Obama? She’s an inspiration because...because..because...? What has she ever done to give inspiration to others?

Yeah, much as y’all would like to make hay out of this comment, it is obvious M. Obama intends the comment to apply to the children’s privacy. The media has been cooperative re: not hounding the girls.

Meanwhile, the media waits for Willow, Piper and Trig to turn 18

62 y/o Dave Letterman about Sarah's 14 y/o daughter Willow: "during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez."

There's nothing like a good stinkeye, and Piper's got it.

“Brain Dead Virtual Vegetable” [Flynt] Today is the day we come together to celebrate the snowbilly grifter’s magical journey from Texas to Alaska to deliver to the America the great gentleman scholar Trig Palin. Is Palin his true mother? Or was Bristol? (And why is it that nobody questions who the father is? Because, either way, Todd definitely did it.) . . . Enjoy yourself today, Trig. Have fun! Get drunk (on purpose this time)! We can hardly wait for 15 years from now, when you will finally be able to vote and will be sent off by your mother’s junta to fight the Union in the Great Alaska War. It’ll be quite a loss. You’re the smartest one in that family. [Wonkette]

I don't want to see what they're like when they finish waiting.

“What has Mochelle done to provide inspiration?” Well she’s inspired me to work like heck to make sure she, Barry and the extended family get tossed out of OUR house in 2012!

Our children, you know, could care less about what we're doing.

Can you imagine anyone saying that about Piper Palin?
