He has to look at what built America.... its government keeping out of the way, and business figuring out what America needs.I just read The Myth of the Robber Barons by Burton Folsom. He points out that government has been screwing up industry and the country since the 1840s! Yes, the 1840s. Government subsidies of the steamboat industry led to very high fares only the rich could afford until Cornelius Vanderbilt created low-cost lines and beat the subsidized companies.

I saw this quote on the roomba somewhere, and I’m paraphrasing:
The dog had an accident last night.
The roomba went into it’s 90 minute cleaning cycle.
It’s everywhere.

Their mission is to come up with a way to get ideas from the drawing board to the manufacturing floor to the marketplace as swiftly as possible, which will help create quality jobs, and make our businesses more competitive," Obama said........ Yeah, Right!

I’d venture to guess a turn of events in the middle east will also be an opportunity to name another approach...

I like to mow grass. That and walking to the mail box 6 times a week is about the only exercise I get!

Yep. That's why I call him the Alien Usurper. Technically he may be a United States citizen but he is no way any kind of American. Two very different things. He is not one of us and never will be.

bagman - Good question. My thoughts too.
sportutegrl - Could be...
Lysandru - Sad but true.
Lonesome in Massachussets - Good points. Sad but true on his ignorance.
OKSooner - Yes. Hopefully, someday history will show him for what he is, as the current scribes don’t.

We have been pretty pleased so far. We were concerned with our bulldog, but luckily he has seemed to ignore it..
