I hope Justice Prosser isn't this hot headed. May be a continuing witch hunt to get rid of this guy.

Ruh roh. Can they recall justices? I am sure they will pull out every stop to dump him. And if that commie judge in dane county gets involved, she will toss him in jail on the basis of suspicion.

Can't win the election, so now they attempt character assassination.

I hope not either. But we don’t know what the provocation was.

All of the stories written about Justice Prosser in the Wisconsin newspapers, all liberal I would guess, have said that he is a gentleman and held in high regard as a man of integrity.
Hot headed is an expression not normally connected to Justice Prosser. If something like this happened, I bet he was provoked.
To: randita
Past USSC justice Sandra Day O’Connor used to complain about how Antonin Scalia would get on a roll against affirmative action — which happened to be the program that gave O’Connor the leg up she needed to get there.
Anyhow, I’d be very surprised if that is the “gutteriest” talk to be heard in that court house. Oh, to be a fly on the wall of the liberals... why not just ask the court for a vote to video everything that happens in those offices? I’m sure Prosser would gladly say yes.
To: randita
They found his weak spot. They’ll keep goading until they get the reaction they want. Then, they’ll play the victim.

They are probably setting him up for removal. The left is savage and will not give up-a lesson conservatives could learn. On the other hand if hot headed just bite your tongue.

Wouldn’t the governor just appoint another conservative, who would be confirmed by the Senate? Big deal. Dems never give up, do they?

It's a witchunt. He's 68 and it's not likely he's going to get into a wrestling match with either of these two old Stalinist warhorses.
I'd encourage him to get armed guards from the State Police to attend meetings with him. Either of those women make a funny move ~ it's all over!

They (Abrahamson and Bradley) are masters at deliberately goading people into perhaps incautious statements. This is bullying and abuse of very, very long standing. All liberals are race baiters, so I'd wager they threw that at him frequently.
To: randita
I was just about to post the same article and ya beat me. I hope it’s not true. If so, he has just handed the DemocRats the means by which they can rid Wisconsin of him and ‘get even’ for the last election win at the same time. They are still claiming that 7,000 ballots were “found” at the last minute, which is, of course, not true.
Prosser couldn’t be that stupid and hot-headed, could he? I mean..come on. He’s an adult. He’s a justice. I’m finding it difficult to believe.

Details of the incident, investigated jointly by Wisconsin Public Radio and the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism, remain sketchy. Prosser can expect the same sort of objective, professional reporting from these folks that Israel receives from Al Jazeera.
