I'm wondering if that grid test hasn't already started and the announcement for July was a trial balloon. My clocks are running fine - no difference there...

I was on my back from Fort Campbell yesterday afternoon and an MH-47 went over me at about 200 feet.
Scared me half to death!!!
One minute there wasn't anything, the next there is this massive shadow surrounding my Highlander. I look up through my moon roof and it's so close all I can see is its belly.

You know that is really weird. I have heard the thing about the cell signals from several people and have experienced it myself.

3 military-looking helicopters flying overhead in our area usually means a big drug bust.

LOL in these parts, helicopters fly fast in low circles - with a huge million candlepower spotlight aimed down at the center of the circle.
I always wonder if the pilots get dizzy

For the last several weeks there have been rumors from around Ft, Hood about a deployment to Libya in the first part of July. Maybe then the big Zero will call it hostilities.

I stationed at Camp Lejeune and MCAS Cherry Point through the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, respectively. The bi-annual spring “purple” or Joint Exercise was called “Solid Shield.” The troops called it “Solid Waste.”
No surprise here.

Well around here it’s usually gang-bangers.
It’s felony traffic stops which get helicopters here.

The only weirdness I've seen today was the neighbor's cat drinking out of my swimming pool again. And that's only weird in the sense that I have two dogs who are known to gnaw on cats if they catch them inside the fence, but this one doesn't sweat them for some reason. Could be that both our sightings are signs of The Apocalypse.
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

“I heard there is a big training exercise going on over the east coast this weekend, mostly NC and SC coastal areas.”
I heard this as well. When I saw this post, it confirmed this rumor even further. My first thought is why is there a major training exercise? I will not be surprised when there is boots on the ground in Libya or some other dreadful place by August. Prayer for our Marines and our Military. I am praying I am wrong.

Power-grid experiment could confuse electric clocks
MSNBC ^ | June 24, 2011 | Seth Borenstein
WASHINGTON A yearlong experiment with America’s electric grid could mess up traffic lights, security systems and some computers and make plug-in clocks and appliances like programmable coffeemakers run up to 20 minutes fast. The group that oversees the U.S. power grid is proposing an experiment that would allow more frequency variation than it does now without corrections, according to a company presentation obtained by The Associated Press. Officials say they want to try this to make the power supply more reliable, save money and reduce what may be needless efforts. The test is tentatively set to start in...
