UPPER DARBY — A mob of about 40 people stormed into the Sears department store on 69th Street Thursday, and in a flash stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, officials said.
Police were able to round up 15 juveniles and one adult, 19, all from West Philadelphia.
“They came in on the El train and hit Sears,” police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said. “They stole sneakers, socks, watches, whatever they could get their hands on, and left.
“Imagine the guts of this gang of young hoodlums. One was 11 years old. The others arrested ranged from 12 to 16 years old. They planned this out earlier in the day on a social networking site. It was pre-planned. They got on the El, got off at 69th Street Terminal and walked up the hill to Sears.”
Kyree Marsh, 19, of the 5500 block of Spruce Street, Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with retail theft, conspiracy to retail theft and corruption of minors.
Police recovered some of the stolen sneakers and socks that were in the backpack of one of the individuals arrested and in the pockets of others taken into custody.
According to the affidavit, the Sears loss-prevention officer saw the mob enter the store at 7:09 p.m. on Thursday.
The group then began taking merchandise off the shelves.

This isn’t new. My parents had a store in rural Appalachian NC. They would be hit by a mob of what they described as gypsies who would come in and take hundreds of dollars of merchandise in less than a minute.
If you go to today’s Seattle PI newspaper, you will find that anarchists as well are using this flash mob technique with a “couple of hundred” trashing the capital hill area.
This has been going on here in Philadelphia for years, only in a slightly different fashion. West Philadelphia is sewer. They organize caravans out to the King of Prussia Mall. Adult blacks recruit juveniles for shoplifting. They’ll hit one store hard knowing that the limited security can’t stop all of them. They’ve even gone so far as to insert their own thieves into stores as clerks. The internet has simply given them a way to expand and terrorize.
OK, When this starts, lock all of the doors and get the tear gas out...those innocents in the store get free coupons, those perps, 2-5 in prison.

You can only seek to prevent this mess by figuring out nondiscriminatory ways of not letting them in or get them identified quickly upon entry.
Just put a bullet through their kneecaps and then post pictures of the damage by the wire and I guarantee that the theft will come to a complete halt.
They thought it would work, but were kind of concerned that the cops and the DA might not see it from our point of view. ;-)

That said, I don't know how you happened to miss several years of gun and ammo shortages shortly after Barry was elected. All of that ordnance went somewhere. The problem is not in the ability, it is presently the lack of will to take the battle to the criminals. So Akheem's bodega got looted by "yoots", how exactly is that my problem and why should I jeopardize my fortune and freedom for a stranger who would likely short-change me if given the opportunity?
When the electricity goes out, the pantry is empty, and someone is lying under your car in the driveway drilling a hole in the tank to steal your gasoline, then that "will" will kick in. Also, there needs to be a complete breakdown in civil society's relationship with the government's goon squads and Gestapo - we are approaching that point very quickly. We are learning that the law enforcement agencies are actual obstacles to justice, often providing protection to the criminal element in their vigorous prosecution and political sabotage of innocent Americans who simply want to defend all that they have worked hard to produce.
As there are flash Mobs, there can just as easily be flash Vigilantes. Many are heavily armed and motivated, but we are still holding on to the basics of civility hoping that a peaceful resolution can be made. As long as we have a roof over our heads, something to watch on TV and a belly full of food and drink peace will remain. When that and hope is gone, then the French Revolution will look like a family picnic in comparison.
It should be obvious to everyone by now, the aims and goals of this Administration and those who support it are Hell bent on creating the perfect atmosphere for Armageddon.

I have a large hand made sign on my storage area “there is nothing in here worth your life” with a skull and cross bones,Everything back there has been left alone!

That would disparage Holder’s people, then they would just be relocated to the desired places, at taxpayer expense.
You say “lack of will” to which I would not argue. However, see Spengler who stated in essence that there comes a time in the history of a people that they will die to provide amusement for others rather than defend themselves. That is what I meant by “lack of ability.”

I don’t think community organizers are needed for something like this. The kids can do this themselves easily enough. I mean, how often have you heard about teen parties, where 3 were invited, but 200 show up?
Terrible, funny I never thought of it happening in rural NC. Must have been outsiders though. If you try something like that in a small town, everyone knows who you are and where to come find you ;)
