He is still on the air because his bosses are also despicable pieces of vile trash, and the FCC officials that are supposed to keep pornography off the publicly owned and controlled bandwidth are bought-off despicable pieces of vile trash.
Because filth and scandalous information sells in America today.
The best way to deal with the filth is to simply ignore it. Getting into a fight over it is like mud wrestling with a pig: You end up covered with filth and the pig enjoys it.
Which is precisely why the Palins really need to stop attracting this kind of attention by getting out of the Reality TV show business and the "Tell All" book business if they ever hope to be taken seriously by more than 8% of America.
