TEA PARTY EXPRESS LAUNCHING FIFTH NATIONAL TOUR THIS SUMMER!

Coast-to-Coast Route Will Focus on Early Presidential Primary States

The Tea Party Express (www.TeaPartyExpress.org) announced today the launch of a national bus tour that will feature 29 tea party rallies across the country. This marks the fifth such tour by the group, whose rallies have been described as "a rolling 4th of July show" and feature conservative singers, speakers, candidates, and celebrities.

The Tea Party Express tour will launch on August 27th in Napa, CA, and head East to culminate in Tampa, FL in time for the Tea Party Presidential debate. The Tea Party debate, hosted by CNN and the Tea Party Express, will take place at the Florida State Fairgrounds located in Tampa, FL. Full details of the tour schedule will be released in the coming days.

"We're thrilled to be going back on the road doing what we love - meeting with the incredible Americans who give the tea party movement its unstoppable strength and energy, celebrating the great things about our country, and encouraging everyone to keep fighting for a better tomorrow." said Tea Party Express Chairman Amy Kremer.

It was previously announced that Tea Party Express had teamed up with CNN to host the only national Tea Party debate. The Tea Party Express has built a network of more than 100 local tea party, 912 and conservative groups representing every state in the nation who have signed on to cosponsor the groundbreaking Tea Party Presidential Debate on September 12, 2011.

The latest Tea Party Express bus tour is expected to feature Presidential candidates, highlight core issues such as fiscal responsibility and constitutionally limited government, and generate interest and awareness for the upcoming Tea Party debate.

I think this tour is going to go through DC on it's way to the debate in Tampa.

I do know it has stops in Maine and New Hampshire.

They probably would have if Perry had announced that he is running.

I saw you wishing for a tea party in DC to go to, well I think this on is going to have one in DC, not sure.

But, you should come to the one in Tampa, and to watch the debate live!

...the Tea Party Express has teamed up with CNN for the first TPE debate?

Now how stupid is that?

You ever been to an airport? Hotel? Doctor's office?

CNN is 24/7 at all of those venues.

Plus, CNN for all it's faults, does good coverage of news events that are happening live.

Fox always cuts out for their pretty boys to comment.

Good guess since I live in Waterford, but I never even heard about that one. The one I attended was in Harrison Township, but I can’t remember exactly when it was, and can’t find it on their website.

I guess it depends on what your definition of NO is.

Fox News’ Uma Pemmaraju: “Does that mean you would support a Romney campaign if he turns out to be the front runner?

Head of Tea Party Express, Amy Kremer: “If Romney is the nominee, I believe that – we want to defeat Barack Obama – so if Romney is the nominee, we would support him.”

She made the mistake of answering a hypothetical question.

And with the wrong answer.

Remember she also mentioned that a candidate with have to have tea party support.

True, it's pretty much a given that Romney would NEVER have support of the TPM.

But if a lightening bolt hit him and it fried all the RINO out of him, it's possible...

I'm humbled you'd be interested at all.

Not many have the gonads for real change.

Status quo is just fine and comfortable for most.

Boy’z, use your imagination....you'll get there.

So you got nuttin’, huh?

Status quo good enough for you, fine.

Here I thought your list was complaints, not agreement.

Hmmmm

Show me a guy with a giant attitude but no ideas and I’ll show you a guy with no ideas.

This thread is about Tea Party Express, a bunch of imperfect people implementing their own imperfect ideas for getting our country back on track.

I’m sure the TPE folks are open to suggestions regarding how they might better achieve their goals.

And if someone knows of someone with a more effective approach than TPE then readers of this thread might be interested in that too.

But the world is full of grouses who sneer that everything sucks and that others need to wake up to this enlightenment.

Such empty self-indulgence helps no one.
