The marquee lit up. It was so great to have it lit like that. The whole downtown seemed to come to life.

I guess I never took any pics of the theater inside from a distance. All I can find are pics of our productions.

It looks very beautiful. All the art deco lines are there to be seen and cherished! Sadly, I also see the For Sale sign. Theatre is a really hard sell in small towns and suburbia. That’s, unfortunately, why I’m stuck here in the Big Apple!

Is the interior in good shape? Does it retain it’s art deco design?

The interior is very plain but deco plain. It was cleaned up once before but has gone down since it has been sitting empty for so long. It needs a complete remodel and a balcony added. I think it was originally meant to have a balcony. Here is a picture that I found a long time ago that shows what I had dreamed it would look like after remodeling. The inside structure looks the same.
