Teachers win layoff protection while school finance officials see their powers curtailed in the state budget package Gov. Jerry Brown is expected to sign today.
The last-minute school legislation, Assembly Bill 114, emerged publicly less than an hour before lawmakers approved it in a late-evening Tuesday session. It reflects the negotiating muscle of teachers as Democratic lawmakers crafted their majority-vote budget with a governor of their own party.

what does this tell us? Unions run that state and that is why business is awful there.
For the difference in taxes and cost of living, you can purchase climate appropriate clothing and have a healthy surplus long into the future. My house in Idaho is free and clear. The difficult task is finding gainful employment in the new location.
I hate to be the one to say it, but why would California parents fund the very institutiohn that is mentally abusing their precious children? Because it is eeeeezier than taking the time and effort to homeschool. So the country is dealt another mortal blow! For these kids are the future!
