I sure do miss those Pella letters, Jaarsmas' bakery, the town square and a bunch of other great stuff about Pella and even Osky (can't believe I admitted that).

I hope the Palins got to enjoy some of the best that SE Iowa has to offer.

Used to go to Osky to get mice for my Boa Constrictor which was a big hit with my great aunt and her quilting circle. Got loose in the house for a few weeks once.

Pella Bologna, dried beef and stringy chicken (old hen) sandwiches were a mainstay.
