Obama has added approximately 14,000 people per day to food stamp dole out. This issue alone should be used by everyone running against him every day until the election!
All according to plan.
It doesn’t surprise me at all to see this. The participation rate has almost doubled! Just imagine - THOSE are most likely the people who WERE doing well, and have been bashed back and forth by Obama’s policies!
The rate before this included more of the people who scam and “live on” assistance vs. those who find themselves using up savings and still not finding a job (there are a lot of middle-aged, and older adults working in the fast food places in my town lately - the college kids are out of luck this summer...). I would estimate that a great many of these people would NOT be asking for ANY help if things weren’t so bad out there.
Do you happen to have a URL link to an article this chart accompanied? It would be helpful to be able to point to it when telling others about this statistic. You’re right in that this figure alone should say SOMETHING to clueless folks about his policies, but then they did elect him...
This little piece of news pops up now and then, but then but disappears entirely. The NRC should have had this fact posted wall to wall, along with that new Obama ad everyone is so proud of. The food stamp useage should have already been a stand alone centerpiece ad. What do we get? Crickets.
